At Virewirx, our commitment to innovation drives us to create scalable, versatile solutions for ultra-high-speed wireless connectivity that ensure data gets from the server rack to the extreme edge and back in record time. We recently sat down with our CEO, Jason Fiber, to discuss what he’s most excited about, his vision for our technology, and his inspirations along the way. Here’s what he had to say:
Maya: What are you most looking forward to in the development of our technology?
Jason Fiber: I’m looking forward to building and deploying our scalable VX60 solution that can solve problems for companies of all sizes and needs. We’re developing a system that scales from 250 square feet up to 10,000+ square feet, with tiered pricing based on space and user count. This flexibility allows us to serve customers across a wide range of industries, giving Virewirx the opportunity to meet the needs of businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Maya: What applications do you think Virewirx’s technology will have the most impact on?
Jason Fiber: Our technology was originally designed for free-roam VR, and we’re deeply committed to enhancing the free-roam experience for mixed reality (MR), extended reality (XR), and virtual reality (VR), especially in entertainment and training. We’re also expanding our capabilities in data transfer services to train and feed AI and machine learning models. It’s been said that data is the new oil, and extending that metaphor, Virewirx offers the fastest and most reliable pipeline for transmitting data wirelessly, particularly in challenging Wi-Fi environments.
Maya: Do you have a dream application in mind?
Jason Fiber: I actually have two. First, I’d love to see our technology used for large-scale Department of Defense (DoD) training, where we could deliver cinematic-quality VR experiences to enhance soldier training. Second, I envision a partnership with a leading tech company to create end-to-end solutions for data generation, capture, and modeling.
Maya: What has been your biggest inspiration in the development of the VX60 system?
Jason Fiber: Having been part of the “reality” ecosystem for years, I’ve experienced issues like latency, lag, and visual artifacts. These are often due to networking limitations, not software. I’m excited that we’re solving these challenges, paving the way for the next generation of XR experiences that feel completely authentic. My inspiration is the idea of elevating XR as a reliable medium for education, entertainment, and training across various industries.

Maya: What was your first experience with our technology like?
Jason Fiber: When I was interviewing for the CEO position, I experienced the Virewirx CES demo of volumetric basketball content captured by Canon’s FVS system. I was floored by the sensation of a life-size basketball player charging toward me; it felt so real that my fight-or-flight response kicked in, and I instinctively ducked. Even though I knew it was a simulation, the realism was so convincing that my body reacted on its own. That clarity and immersion were thrilling.
Maya: What has been your favorite experience at Virewirx so far?
Jason Fiber: I love the thrill of closing deals and celebrating wins. Securing our first few deals over the past months was incredibly validating. It confirmed our business plan and go-to-market strategy and showed that others value what we’re creating. Knowing we have a clear path to success has been exciting and rewarding.
With Jason’s passion for immersive XR experiences and his vision for scalable technology, Virewirx is positioned to transform industries ranging from entertainment to defense. Stay tuned as we continue to push the boundaries of what high-speed wireless means as well as ensuring virtual reality experiences are more real than ever before.
